Vila Joya

Villa Joya is a boutique hotel and restaurant on the coast of The Algarve in southern Portugal near the town of Albufeira, which is a 40-minute drive from Faro airport. The property is perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea and has 21 rooms. The restaurant was established in 1982 and is a seasonal operation, opening from March to November under command of renowned 2 Michelin Star Chef Dieter Koschina.

The name means "House of Joy" after the daughter of the family that bought the property in 1979, Claudia and Klaus Jung. Joy Jung is now the sole owner of Villa Joya.

Food is never an afterthought at VILA VITA Parc and Chef Hans Neuner. With a total of six bars and 10 restaurants, ranging from casual beachside dining to rustic Portuguese plates to one-of-a-kind gastro-creations at two Michelin-starred restaurant, diversity is key to our culinary philosophy.

Listing a comprehensive choice of Portuguese wines, as well as a wide selection from other great vineyards around the globe, the gastronomic restaurant makes a special feature of food and wine pairing. Alberto Augusto Foz

Welcome to the oldest grocery store and liquor store in Foz do Douro.

Founded in April 1954 by Alberto Augusto Leite, it quickly became a reference in the city of Porto for the selection of the best foreign and national products. After his death, Arnaldo Luis Cerqueira, one of the founding partners, expanded the business with the opening of a new Garrafeira space and maintained the company's success to this day.

An evening with JNcQUOI’s Executive Chef António Bóia

Considered by many “the” Master Chef, not only for the creativity and quality that are present in all his dishes but as well as the organizational skills with which the Chef leads his teams.

Born and raised in Bragança, at the age of thirteen, António Bóia moved to France where he took the first steps in the restaurant industry as a kitchen helper and waiter.

His passion for the kitchen grew and in 1987, António Bóia enrolled at the renowned school Le Cordon Bleu.

Returning in 1992 to Portugal, Chef António Bóia worked at Alcantara Café and Hotel da Lapa, having later worked at the Penha Longa.

His passion is visible in every aspect of his career. Sourcing the best produces, knowing their origins and how to best display them at the table has become António Bóia’s business card.

Hotel Vila Foz

This prestigious palace was built in the 18th century and is located on Porto's ocean drive Avenida Montevideu Nr 236.

At that time Foz was a fishing port that gradually became a bathing area, famous for its iodine rich waters. The whole neighborhood became the nobilitie's favorite location. Today Foz is a synonym for, class, sophistication and natural beauty.
